About Chester
Chester was adopted to a couple (Alex and Brendan) 3 years ago by our rescue and he now finds himself in need of a new home.
Sadly, Brendan was diagnosed with terminal cancer in Sept 2021 and prior to this the adoption of a rescue dog into the family has not been successful for Chester.
You see, Chester dislikes the dog and every avenue has been explored - medications, behavioural therapy but none have worked. Chester has also had some urinary issues due to the stress of the dog that following the Brendan's terminal cancer diagnosis, they feel they are unable to keep Chester any longer as he is just not happy.
We would LOVE to find Chester a new home.
Chester is a GORGEOUS tabby boy who would love to be adopted as the only cat or into a home that already has another cat as Chester gets on well with cats.
Chester MUST be an indoor only cat (this is not negotiable)
As mentioned, Chester has had some stress urinary issues and takes medication daily, however it is felt that this may be because of the dog and that once he settles into a new home and the stress is removed, the medication can be reviewed as needed.
Alex and Brendan would love to get updates on Chester in his new home and are wanting to meet his new owner. This could be done via video chat OR at their home (covid safely) in the Hunter Valley (Newcastle area).
Preference for adoption will be given to families in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley regions due to current covid lockdown laws HOWEVER, transport can be arranged for Chester from Newcastle to Sydney so we would encourage anyone who feels they can give Chester the best home to apply.

Medical notes
Chester is microchipped, desexed and has all his vaccinations and flea and worm treatments up to date.
Other than the urinary stress issues because of his current living situation, Chester is a happy and healthy boy.
