About Jake 🐾
Jake is our 12 year old Maltese boy who loves a snuggle and being the centre of attention. Whilst he is currently in care with another dog, they are not what you would call ‘friends’ and we think he deserves to be your one and only, living out his senior years spoilt rotten 🥰
Jake would be suited to a laid back lifestyle of short walks and sunbaking. He does love a game of fetch though…..He is such a happy little man with plenty of spunk and personality and would be a great little companion for someone who is home a lot. He enjoys meeting new people, including kids and is friendly towards everyone 👩👦
Toilet training has been challenging with Jake, as previously he was never taught….he has also only recently been desexed. Jake is scared of using a doggie door to access the yard, so you must be vigilant in watching for his cues to go and tell him to go outside, which he responds to. Accidents have been less often lately, but it does happen.
Although a heart murmur was detected at his health check, there is no need for medications at this stage, and otherwise a happy and relatively healthy boy, given his age.
Jake is located in Point Clare on the Central Coast NSW and due to restrictions currently in place, we are looking to Rehome him within the Central Coast LGA.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
