Dixie

Dixie is a beautiful little girl, she loves her daily walks and visits to the park. Dixie loves her people but also will wander outside and just relax. She doesn't mind other small dogs as long as she can be the boss. She isn't too interested in playing with them and ignores them totally but would be happy to play with you. She loves it when you throw her toys to her to chase and will play for a long time. Dixie has not been tested with small children or cats but loves to watch the children play at the park. She would like someone that isn't going to leave her at home all day every day while they go to work as she doesn't like being alone for a very long time. If you allow her she is happy to nap on your lounge with you and fall asleep at night on your bed. She is learning how to spend nights in her crate but ultimately Dixie is a people dog and she will obey you and become very attached. If you think you can give Dixie a balance of fun and rest she may be the furbaby you are looking for. She is house trained and we haven't had an accident at her foster home yet.
