About Banjo
Please meet Banjo.
This clever and energetic young man is seeking a foster home with a strong leader who has cattle/working dog experience. Banjo is a good boy who can sometimes become confused of what his people are asking of him.
He was adopted but sadly returned after a few months. We are not sure of the exact circumstances although we do know he became reactive to certain situations in his new home and we all made the decision that it was best for him to come back to us so we could ensure he receives the assessment and training he needs.
We believe he will be best suited to a home where he will have a human and a canine 'mate' to share his time with. A home where someone is home throughout the day would be preferable.
Banjo gets along really well with everyone. He is currently living with a family with young teenagers and he adores them all and is always up for a cuddle with them. Considering his energy levels, he will need a home where he will have room to move, preferably acreage and an active, desexed canine friend to offer his companionship and to be a good role model to help him learn what is expected from him.
At this stage, we are only seeking a foster home for Banjo but if all goes well, we will consider adoption after lockdown is lifted and we have been able to have a few sessions with Banjo, his foster carer and an experienced trainer.
Banjo will only be suited to a home with NO CATS. This is not negotiable!
We are happy to discuss things further with the person we believe is right for Banjo. If you think your home may be a good match and you would like to know more, please send us an email and we will be back in touch shortly.
Banjo is currently in Wallan.
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
