About Anya
Finally it is Beautiful Anya's Turn to find her family ❤
Anya which means 'mother' is a wonderfully calm, gentle, confident dog.
She likes humans of all ages.
She is aged around 2 to 3 years young and is considered to be a black Labrador cross Kelpie.
She is of medium size and weighs 24kg.
We do not know Anya's history, other than having been picked up as a pregnant stray in Mt Isa.
She has at some point been subjected to being tethered as this has left significant scarring and a slight bulge under her neck.
Testament to her beautiful nature, this has not affected Anya's ability to trust and to be a gentle affectionate loyal girl.
In mid June Anya gave birth to 9 beautiful mixed breed puppies.
She gets along well with other dogs, loves to play, especially with toys that squeak!
She does have a prey drive, so will chase birds or kangaroos !
Anya is an alert barker, but quiet any other time.
She sleeps inside, and enjoys couch time but her favourite place of all is outdoors.
She is not destructive and will happily spend her time sunning her belly.
She is an average shedder with a medium energy level.
She is house trained and has very basic obedience skills.
She loves fresh pineapple, strawberries, watermelon, apple, carrots and car rides.
Anya is not too keen on nail trimming as she has ticklish feet, so this is best accomplished without touching her paws or with a helper !
She does have a need to return grooming, showing her appreciation by gently nibbling on her human during displays of affection.
This may be a carry over behaviour from grooming her pups or it may be habitual for her.
Over all, Anya is an absolute delight and will be an amazing furry friend for one very lucky family.
Anya is desexed, vaccinated and up to date with parasite control (flea, tick, worming).
She is located in care in Ridgewood on the Sunshine Coast. and her adoption fee is $550.

Adoption details
The adoption fee includes desexing, microchipping, first vaccination, worming and flea treatment, current at time of adoption.
Our cats are to be indoor only, we figure this is a big step towards keeping them out of the pound!
Our dogs are to be inside/outside dogs, allowed to be inside at night and in poor weather conditions, included in the family, not left in the yard.
Adoption process includes a meet and greet followed by a home visit ( in your home) by one of our team. Photo ID will also be required upon application.
