Francis is one of the tabby triplets that came into our care recently - and she is by far the smoochiest. Francis is a total love bug.

There is nothing this pretty tabby girl likes better than to sit on your lap, purring up a storm and gazing into your eyes. Mind you, Francis can be very possessive and she expects your undivided attention. A quick pat is not going to work.

Francis can be a tad lazy and really doesn’t see the point of rushing around chasing balls. That’s not to say she won’t rouse herself if you dangle some jingly toys for her amusement. Some heavy paw paddling keeps her trim.

Francis can be a little shy, so a quiet home is what will be best for her. Teenage children would be okay but she is not suited to a home with children aged under 12 years. Francis will be more than content to be an only fur child as long as she is loved.

Francis will need you to be patient as you ease her into her new family, as it’s been a less than ideal start in life for this sensitive girl. But if being smothered in kitty kisses and having a lap cat is high on your list, then Francis could be the kitten for you.

Francis will also need to be able to access her people at night as she loves to sleep on the bed with you. She would not be suited to a home that intends to lock her away in a laundry or separate room at night.

Francis is also not suited to a home with a dog/dogs as she is terrified of dogs. She will, however, be fine in a home that has a young cat for her to be friends with.

Francis's sisters Allegra and Prudence have been adopted so this girl is ready to go to the right home as soon as she can. If you are not able to adopt Francis for a while please state this on your application.
