Shadow

Shadow had been was living with another dog, both were skinny and in need of veterinary care. Thanks to a call from a member of public to our animal cruelty hotline, our Inspectors were able to attend the property.

Since arriving at the RSPCA Animal Care Centre, Shadow has put on over a quarter of his body weight. He has been desexed and had a full dental scale and polish. He is an older boy, and the sign of aging have set in. He has arthritis, which is being helped by medication, and he is going deaf. His nose definitely still works though and he will suss out a snack in no time!

Shadow needs a family to help him live out his golden years. He is a cheerful, peppy old man that enjoys a daily stroll, an afternoon nap and a warm, loving home.

As Shadow is a senior and will need ongoing veterinary care, he has a special adoption fee of $100.
