About Bruce
Meet Bruce,
Bruce was taken in by a pound after he was found wandering the streets, we are still unsure how long he had been left to fend for himself for but he was very sick when found. His old family was contacted and they simply said they no longer wanted him as he was 12 years old and sick.
When first arriving to his foster home he was so happy with his warm bed that he would stay on it all day and whenever he came out he would always be crouched down and scared of anyone around him. Bruce has come a long way since then, he loves cuddles, attention and is essentially learning how to cat. Bruce is a massive softy, he definitely does not realise how big he is! He headbutts you for attention and will always turn on his back for a good old tummy scratch.
Bruce would best suit a quiet home with someone that will give him the time and patience to come out of his shell, he would suit a home with older children but not a loud household. He has become quite fond of his foster brother (a chihuahua) so he would suit a home with a calm dog.
Although Bruce has lived on the streets, he is the best home cat you could have, he is an expert in using his kitty litter, he doesn’t scratch the furniture or destroy your plants and he acts like a kitten when a toy is around. He is learning the comforts of home and has started to jump on the bed and couch for cuddles.
If you could be the perfect home for Bruce and give him all the love and care he deserves, follow the link below to submit an application:
Medical notes
Bruce has a grade 2 heart murmur that doesn't affect him and never has- no need to be worried about it at all.
Bruce has a clean bill of health otherwise, he recently had a dental clean and has had a blood test which has come back all normal and healthy for his age.
