About Chuck ~ 9yr Old Great Dane X(On Trial 10/12/21)
Chuck is a beautiful 9 year old Great Dane X Mastiff. He is a gentle giant (50kg) who loves nothing more than a cuddle. Chuck is looking for a loving forever home where he can spend his senior years relaxing and being spoilt!
Chuck knows basic commands such as sit, stay, and lay down. He loves shaking your hand, especially when there is food involved!
Although Chuck loves to laze around in the sun, he also loves a walk! Chuck is a big boy, so needs someone who can handle him on the lead when he gets excited for his walks.
Chuck would be best suited to a home with no young children, as he sometimes forgets his size and loves cuddling up close for a pat! He is also needing a home with no other dogs, so he can just relax and enjoy his senior years.
Chuck would prefer someone to be home most of the time (even after lockdown). He also requires sturdy 5 foot fencing, as he is a big boy and gets excited when he sees other dogs and people outside. Currently Chuck is not house trained.
Please only apply for Chuck if you have:
- no young children (ages 10 and over)
- no cats
- a dog that is isn't full on and happy to leave him alone
- sturdy, 5-6 foot colourbond fencing with no gaps or holes. Rural fencing will not be accepted
- someone home most of the day (including after lockdown!)
Chuck is a distinguished older gentleman who enjoys the finer things in life. He deserves a dedicated and loving home for him to enjoy his twilight years surrounded by all the love and cuddles we can award him. Chuck is a dog who has so much love to give, and deserves a perfect forever home where he feels comfortable and loved by his humans.
He currently sleeps outside in a cosy kennel, he would happily sleep inside as long as he has as long as he has access to outside when it is needed.
Please consider your circumstances after lockdown, as we are wanting his forever home to be just that. We ask that you review your lifestyle and acknowledge the commitment it takes to bring a new dog into your home. Due to lockdown, we cannot offer interstate adoptions at this time.
