About Bailey and Louie (bonded pair)
Hi my name is Bailey, and this is my brother Louie!
We started out life on the streets with our mum and siblings, so although we are both very lovely handsome boys (if I do say so myself), we are still a bit wary of humans, and are slowly learning to trust them.
Our foster mumma says that I am the confident one, and I like to do everything on my own terms (like most cats). I am very playful and absolutely love to play with any and all toys, including my brother. I am very fond of food and treats, and will loudly let my foster mumma know when my dinner is late. If there are any treats, I am always the first one to gobble them up! I have recently discovered that humans make great pillows, so I will happily lay next to my foster humans on the couch, or on top of their legs or feet. I also like to lick their fingers, and have a gentle nibble at any toes which emerge from under a blanket. I am still figuring out that pats are nice, so for now I am not too keen on them, but with some time and patience, my foster mum thinks before long I will learn to love pats and cuddles. Just when I want them of course!
My brother Louie is a bit shyer than I am, but he has made some amazing progress! Louie is now very happy to be around people, and will join me up on the couch with our foster humans. He prefers to nap near their feet, but he still gets a bit scared of people, especially when they are being very loud. Louie loves to play with humans and enjoys playing with toys on a string. We spend lots of our time running around the house together, having so much fun! Louie will need a patient new family, as he is likely to hide for a bit when he goes to his new home, but he will shine with a family who can give him some time, and let him become comfortable with them at his own pace.
We would love to go to our new home together, as Louie will do best with me around to help build his confidence further and to show him the ropes. We would do best in a home without children, as they can be a bit loud and scary, but older, calm kids may be ok.
We both have so much love to give a forever family who can give us time and patience so we can let our wonderful, loving personalities shine through!
