Hey hey, I'm Cali! I am a sweet girl who would love someone to match my silly, goofy energy! I am an affectionate girl with lots and lots of love to give. I am an excitable, bundle of joy who can sometimes forget my size - I will need a home with an active lifestyle! I would love to have dedicated owners who can strongly reinforce and reward calm behaviours in different situations, so that I can grow up to be the best mannered pup. I would like for my forever family to be very motivated in their approach and willing to invest time in training with me, and also actively involve me in their lives and everything they do. I will also need you to allow me time to settle in to your home, and allow me to have any introductions at a slow pace, and will need my owners to provide safe and positive experiences for me to build my confidence! I would also like for any introductions to be paired with positive associations such as tasty treats! I would prefer a female only home, as I get a little too nervous around men however if there is a special man in your life I would need to meet him slowly first. I am quite the dog social girl but I play more on the intense side, so any play should be well managed just incase I'm a lil too much for some doggos. Because I love to be the centre of attention, in my future home I will need to be the only dog at this stage however I could potentially live with another dog in the future and also have dog friends outside the home. I would also be best suited to a mature household as I can be a little more energetic in my approach to younger children.
