Truffles

Truffles is a piece a la resistance!

Arriving into care very down on her luck, Truffles has come a long way in care. She is fairly typical of the bulldog breed, she is not overly energetic but does do the occasional zoom around the garden and doesn't mind a sniff around the neighborhood if you can motivate her to leave the comfort of the couch.

Truffles is a little shy upon first meet but once she decides you are her people, she is a true snuggle buddy. Truffles finds comfort in her canine friends, she currently shares a home with a cattle dog, and the two play and nap together, so we are looking for a family with another friendly dog for company. She is kid-friendly (12 and up) but is not suited to an apartment. Whilst bulldog experience is preferred, it's not essential what's most important is a family that are committed to making sure she is happy and healthy. Truffles has chronic dry eye and requires daily eye ointment, she also requires joint supplements like antinol, of course, you must also get acquainted to wiping her skin folds (which I'm sure sparks joy).

A quiet soul (snoring not included), it's vital her family are patient and caring, using only force-free methods, not forcing her to do things she's not ready to do. Truffles has had a life of breeding and neglect but the tides are changing and we hope to find her a home where she will be spoilt rotten and treated like the absolute Queen she is.
