Brooklyn is an independent and playful black domestic shorthair boy looking for a family and home to call his own. As he is very cat social and active, he is looking to join an adult only family with another friendly and playful cat. More photos and videos on Instagram @two_white_foster_cats
Brooklyn loves to play with toys and especially with other playful felines. He selects his special people to love and adore, and can take convincing to get over his initial cautiousness. However once he relaxes, he loves his people with all his little stubborn cat heart and his happy chirps and trills will fill the house. Brooklyn looks like a little Batman with his big ears, watching and observing what the household does. He is curious and likes to know what his humans do, preferring to be in the same room where his special people are.
When he is relaxed, he loves pats and affection on his terms and purrs like an engine. His favourite toys at the moment are wand toys, climbing towers, tunnels and the elusive red dot (laser toys). Brooklyn’s favorite way to spend a day is to wrestle with his siblings and running around in a typical kitten fashion before settling on the couch next to his human for a nap. He is not a lap cat yet and is happy to sleep on his own, visiting the bed briefly before stealing the snug dog bed from the dog and settling in for the night.
Brooklyn is dog social and knows to be respectful with older cats if needed, after being fostered with a hyperactive Boston Terrier and two grumpy 11yr old cats. Due to his initial shyness and tendency to play rough sometimes when he gets excited, he would be best suited to a calm, adult only family. A friendly and playful feline companion would make him a happy boy! Brooklyn adores his food and has a 100% recall when it’s time for breakfast, dinner or snack. He travels well in a carrier, is used to handling his paws and loves to have his coat brushed. Will you be Brooklyn’s new Family?

Please email us at heartandsoulrescueadoptions@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting one of our precious souls, we will email you our Adoption Application Form.
Once we have received your completed form, we will then contact you to discuss suitability. If we feel one of our cats or kittens will be suited to you, we will arrange a home visit or ask for a short walk through video of your home. If all goes well, we will give you a trial period of 2 weeks to see if our cat or kitten is the right one for you ❤
