Clancy

Hello! My name is Clancy, but my foster mum thinks I look more like a Jamie so that’s what she’s been calling me as I don’t respond to Clancy. I get very excited and wag my tail when humans come home and I can’t wait to cuddle! I have a human-like personality and my foster mum describes me as very shy, gentle and calm. Sometimes I have random bursts of energy where I love to do a some zoomies in the backyard and then go back to sleep. I love to be inside with the family, all cosy and snuggled up. I’m not phased by other dogs I see or my jack russell x foster brother - but it might bother me if a dog at home has too much energy and annoys me. I haven’t been tested with children so I’d be best suited to a family that doesn’t have small children. I need a slow and structured introduction to new things as well as a confident pack leader who I can trust. I might need help with some basic commands (ie. sit, lie down) but I am well toilet trained and like to sleep in my crate. I haven’t shown my foster family any negative behaviour. I’m great on my leash and won’t pull you. I can’t wait to find my forever family!
