About Lucky
These special seniors will make you fall in love all over again if you can just see past their greying muzzles and into their wonderful hearts!
lucky and barbie’s elderly owner recently passed away leaving behind these lovely little orphans so now they’re looking for a special home where they can live out the rest of their doggie lives together…. . There is some debate around lucky’s age as some paperwork points towards him being 12 years old whereas other records have him as 15-16 years old so we’ve averaged him out at a spritely 14 years young……and he’s certainly still sprightly and looks forward to his and barbie’s daily walk – he’ll even go and get their double lead when he’s ready to go!!!!. Lucky’s a “talker” and makes these cute little “row, roaw, arroo” noises like he’s having a conversation with you, and when he's ready for bed he slips himself under the covers in his own little bed and you don't see him again until morning :)
generously affectionate, this gorgeous pair still manage to bring a little bit of joy to everyone who meets them. All the qualities that people so often look for in the ‘perfect’ dog can be found in lucky and barbie. They are well mannered and calm, they love pats and cuddles especially when it involves “lap-time” in front of the tv. They are intelligent and easy to train and they are such good company for each other there are no concerns of coming home to a bored dog’s landscaping attempts!!
both dogs have enjoyed a mostly indoor lifestyle which we’d really like to see continued. If you’ve been looking for the companionship of a wonderful pet, and understand that age is no barrier to love, contact sarg for an application now - we know you won’t be disappointed!!
please note: we'd prefer lucky and barbie were rehoused together hence their adoption fee is for the pair
Medical notes
Lucky is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed. Health = good, fairly deaf and he’s missing a few teeth especially his front ones though it doesn’t slow him down!
