About Vedder
*In foster care in Rushcutters Bay, Sydney*
Vedder is full of the joys of life! This gorgeous young man loves nothing more than a good romp around the yard with his special humans or other friendly dogs. He also adores a day at the beach and wriggles with delight as he splashes in the shallows!
Some of Vedder's favourite games include fetch and tug of war. Hugely affectionate by nature, he never turns down a belly rub or a cuddle on the sofa :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Vedder is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm an active puppy with boundless energy, so a home with a garden I can run around or humans who'll give me lots of walks would be amazing!
I love to spend lots of time in the company of my family, and have lived with another dog in foster care which was really cool :)
I do tend to bark if I hear a noise outside, so apartment living with high foot traffic in the corridor would not be ideal.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: High! I need lots of daily exercise.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: A home with dog-savvy kids would be best for me, because I can get excited when it's play time and don't want to knock anyone over! Children of toddler age and younger might be a bit too small to handle my enthusiastic personality.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I get on super well with other dogs, and love to play and socialise. Occasionally I can get a bit excited and bark a lot in other dogs' faces - it's all friendly and not aggressive, but you might need to help me work on my manners :)
I haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
