Athena

Athena arrived into our care alongside her 13 puppies - she was a patient, loving and kind mumma dog and now that her babies have gone and found their perfect homes it’s Athena’s time to find hers!

A big goof ball at heart, Athena loves to play and zoom around the yard with her toys, her full body wag will make you smile and her full body cuddles will melt your heart!

She may weigh 36kgs but that doesn’t stop her from believing she is 100% lap dog. A good daily adventure will have her snoozing the rest of the day away, she is great off leash and on and is pretty much bomb proof in busy and quiet environments.

Absolutely awesome with other dogs, Athena could go to a home with another friendly dog or be someone’s one and only! Athena is also awesome with kids however it’s important to note that her tail is a weapon, it wags so hard it hurts and it’s not unusual for her foster carers to end up with bruises from her joyous enthusiasm! Seriously we cannot stress what an absolute gem of a dog this girl is! She is truly something special.

Athena does have some environmental allergies and is receiving treatment, in a different environment this may resolve without much issue but it’s something to note as it may need continual treatment.
