About Jeju
Jeju is a triple threat, sweetheart, smart and a little bit of sassy.
Living with three big dogs, she is rapidly becoming quite the social butterfly often wanting to stop to meet new people and puppy friends on her daily walks.
She is still a bit scared of loud car noises so she'll freeze sometimes but if you just encourage her along she's perfectly fine and walks very well. She's been travelling well strapped into the car too.
Jeju is a very affectionate girl who is always found snuggling up to her foster carers or foster brother (German shepherd). She's still quite needy at this stage and wants to be lying near you and has a sook if she doesn't get that cuddle.
She has a big heart and big attitude and likes having her way so will require a firm handler that can develop her behaviour and keep up her training.
Whilst in care, Jeju has been learning new things. She is working on toileting and knows basic commands (sit, lie-down, come). Very food focused so training will be easier. She will require an experienced family committed to her ongoing training, socialisation, development, health and happiness. She is not suited to novice dog owners.
As a medium-high energy girl, she will thrive in an active home that can fulfill her physical and mental stimulation needs. A life filled with adventure & activity will suit her best. Jeju has excellent stamina, so may be a great jogging companion when older.
Jeju's new home should either have another older and active dog or someone home most days. At this stage, we're not looking for a home with kids, so prefer an adult only home. She can live with cats and is gentle with the one she lives with now.
She's best suited to be a mostly inside dog at home with outdoor access and a comfy bed inside for night-time near her humans or other dog. Apartment living is not for her.
Interested families need to outline, in detail, in their application, their previous experience with dogs with behaviour challenges and how they worked on these issues. Jeju is a brilliant puppy in experienced hands, but will be very difficult in less knowledgeable hands.
If you wish to register your interest to become Jeju's new family, please complete the adoption enquiry form on our Fetching Dogs website.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
