About Luna and Cheddar
Cheddar (11 months male ginger tabby) and Luna (5 months female tuxedo) are siblings who would make a purrrfect addition to any family! They are both sweet, affectionate kittens, who just want love! They enjoys the company of other cats and humans, alike! They are delightful and active kittens, who spend their day cuddling up to their humans, playing with toys and chasing each other around! Both Cheddar and Luna enjoy human companionship and are happy to be patted, held and cuddled. They are both not comfortable with being held for long periods of time, but this will improve with love and patience!
Rescue Story:
Despite Cheddar and Luna’s rough beginnings, they are both absolute sweethearts, who just want love! Cheddar and Luna were rescued from a neglectful and abusive family. Their mum (who has now been adopted) was being used for ‘breeding’, and the cats/kittens were living under the house with no bedding, bowls, toys. They received no love or care.
They do sometimes get nervous if you pick up large items and wear enclosed large shoes inside (e.g. sneakers) - we assume they were physically abused before and are still understanding that these items will not be used to hurt them. However, they have never shown any behavioural problems or signs of aggression and have never hissed, scratched or bitten.
They have been very sweet and loving kittens in foster care and have won over everyone’s hearts! They were both rescued as young kittens and have been in foster care for 5 months now, and have undergone socialisation and behavioural training. They also have been socialised with visitors/new people so they are comfortable with strangers.
Ideal family:
Luna and Cheddar would do well with a patient and loving family. They are both social, sweet, smoochy kittens who adore pats, cuddles and kisses! They would thrive in a home where at least one person is home most of the day, who can play with them and give them attention. Both kittens are a bit shy at first, so we do ask that you provide a separate room, or enclosed area that they can stay in for the first week while adjusting.
Ideal home:
Although Cheddar and Luna spend most of their day indoors, they did have had access to a secured backyard while in foster care. They do enjoy playing outside so it would be wonderful if their adoption home has access to an outdoor area (even just a balcony).
Luna and Cheddar are used to living with other cats. However, Cheddar is easily bullied, so he would not do well with dominant cats.
Suitability to children:
Both cats have never met any children, so we are unsure how they will react.
Suitability to dogs:
Both cats have never met any dogs, so we are unsure how they will react.

Medical notes
Luna and Cheddar have had all vet work completed at Concord Veterinary Hospital (including desexing, vaccinations, health checks, tests for common cat diseases, flea treatments and worming).
Both cats are completely healthy and have no physical or mental health problems.
They both currently have been treated Milbemax (for worming) and Bravecto (for fleas). This will have to continue every 3 months.
