Ziggy is looking for a home with cat savvy people who will continue to give him the boundaries he needs to help him be his bestest boy.

He needs to be in an environment where he has lots of mental stimulation as well as the opportunity for physical exercise, as he has the tendency to become a little unruly if not given challenges to satisfy his need to be kept busy.

He is an affectionate and smoochy boy who loves being involved in everything with his foster family. He jumps on your lap for a quick cuddle and kiss but likes to dictate the duration of the visit.

His moods are fluid and fleeting and his fuse is very short, however he makes it very clear when he’s had enough of something, as he begins to mumble and complain, which escalates into a full on hissy fit if his warnings are not heeded.

He can be very confrontational and reactive at times and will also stand his ground if he feels he has a point to prove. He’s not a cat for the faint of heart.

His new family needs to be fluent in cat communication so that any further escalation of this behaviour is nipped in the bud.

His ideal home would allow him access to a fully equipped outdoor enclosure to enable him to enjoy physical challenges as well as watching the birds, fresh air and sunshine, while keeping him safe.

He is not suitable for a family with children as he can redirect onto the nearest person when he gets wound up. He’s also a face and neck sleeper, who likes to drape himself across his people at nighttime.

While he has managed to negotiate the various feline personalities in his foster home, we believe that he is more suited to being an only cat as his complicated personality has the potential to cause conflict in a multi cat household.

He’s definitely not the right cat for you if you have expensive knick knacks or delicate chinaware as he’s a intrepid explorer, who seems to have missed out on the usual stealth and coordination of your average room tiger.

Despite, or perhaps because of all his quirks, Ziggy is an absolute delight. His amusing endeavours and his desire to get involved in everything makes him particularly endearing.

With his beautiful blue eyes and amazing silver fur, this boy is a picture of innocence with the capacity to create chaos.
