Meet Gilly, he has been very happy in his foster home but is now ready to find his forever home where he can show you his quirky personality and make you laugh. He was quite scared of humans at first, hissing and hiding but overtime he realised humans aren't all that bad, the best part being that they bring his favourite food, kibble! Gilly does have some boundaries, he doesn't like to be carried or held as he is still very unsure of hands. He is still learning to accept pats and is getting better each day, he will happily take pats when he is distracted (when he is eating or playing), so with time he will likely accept more. If he doesn't want any, he will let you know! Whilst he may not like being picked up, he does show he wants to be with you, as he often surprised his foster family by sitting on the couch with them and generally being around. In his foster home he had many animal friends to play with. He would really benefit from a home that has another animal he is able to interact with. He needs an understanding home with no children that will give him the space to be himself.
