Poppet and Spider are sisters who came to the RSPCA at a very bad time in their lives. They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Poppet is much calmer and friendlier, while Spider has a very quirky sense of humour and loves racing around the house. After being nursed back to health at the RSPCA, they were placed in foster care to develop their social skills. Initially both Poppet and Spider were very wary of human interaction, gradually with a quiet environment, lots of time and the lure of food, they came out. Spider is still very wary of humans and does not like to be touched yet; if you manage to stroke her as she zooms past, she gives you a very reproachful glare. She does however love to be near you whatever you are doing. Often you will be sitting somewhere, and Spider will find you and come and sit next to your chair to keep you company. Toys are the love of Spider's life. Not so much wand toys, but anything she can carry around in her mouth talking all the time. She will move her current favourite toy from room to room and plays very vigorously with it, tossing it in the air and rushing to retrieve it from wherever it landed. Spider also loves Ping-Pong and other small balls which she bats around the room at speed. ​Poppet and Spider will need people who are willing to give them time to settle down and slowly adapt to their new home. They are indoor cats and due to their temperaments would not be able to cope with the big wide world outside. Poppet and Spider will be a long-term project for their new family, but with time and patience will reward them will love and lot of fun times.
