About Cersei
Cersei is playful, and independent. She is a little cat, and loves watching the outside world go by. She likes to also take part and chases flies, moths and anything that moves in and out of the house. She is known locally as the Queen of Docklands as she sits on the balcony table and looks down at all the passerby’s. She is inquisitive by nature and loves to explore things that are brought in. She's social, and is quick to check out new guests and the shopping brought in. Cersei tends to sit nearby on her bedding, and loves to chase the toys on the ground. She is comfortable in a harness and likes to go for a walk in the hallway, but it's more like she is walking the human than the other way around.
Cersei is docile when picked up and generally lets you clean her or give her medication with very little pushback. When bothered she'll push away with her paws but is very gentle. Given that Cersei is a long haired cat, it is recommended that she receive regular grooms to ensure her coat is kept in immaculate condition. There is nothing worse that being covered in uncomfy knots!
Cersei previously lived with her sister, hasn't lived with any dogs or other pets. Cersei has been an indoor pet in an apartment her entire life, and would suit a home where she in the only pet.
Cersei loves to play, with her favourite toy being a small mouse toy from the vet. She also has a number of other toys she can take with her to her new home.
Although she hasn’t lived with kids, of the few she has been around, Cersei is docile and gentle.
Cersei will lie on the floor stomach up to say hello and loves stomach rubs. She also loves to get pushed along the floor on her hind legs. A walk in the hallway is something she likes to do each day. She also sometimes sneaks under the cover on the bed when I'm working on the computer nearby. She knows when it's 5:30 and time to get off the computer!
Cersei would suit a family, couple or single person home with a view to explore, and regular presence in the house would be ideal. Cersei likes people around her, but doesn't always need attention. She likes company. She will say when she wants to play or wants a tummy rub.
Having access to a garden or balcony that is contained would be ideal as Cersei likes to jump up on things and wait for birds or flies. I've taught her not to go over the rail and she doesn't do it now but it would need to be reinforced and ensuring she's not going to jump if there's a bird on the ledge if living in an area where birds might come to the balcony. Cersei would suit a single pet household and potentially a multi pet household if she can be introduced to the pets and they get along. She would suit someone who wants a fun playful but independent cat. She likes her good quality wet food so would be important that her new home is able to support that.
Cersei’s adoption is an assisted adoption via PetRescue's Home2Home program. You will be speaking with Cersei’s owner when you enquire.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of adoption fee. Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
