Pepe ~ 2yr Old Chihuahua X (On Trial 5/9/21)

Meet Pepe a black and white 2 year old Fox Terrier X Chihuahua. Pepe loves nothing more than to be a cheery companion who can spend lots of time watching tv on the couch, giving kisses and cuddles and going on walks in the park.

Pepe will need someone with experience to redirect his reactivity on walks and encourage a better outlet to his reactions whenever someone walks past the house. He will require further training and management to mitigate his current behaviours, Pepe needs an experienced motivated home where he will be encouraged to become the best doggo he can be. Someone with breed specific experience will be highly desireable.

Pepe will become overwhelmed in a large busy family, so will be best suited to a quiet home with someone with time to spend hours of one on one time with him each day. Pepe will not suit a family with children, and is searching for a couple or single who are able to guide him.

Pepe's perfect home will have:

> Someone home more often than not.

> Someone who is willing to increase his confidence meeting new people and redirecting some behaviours such as alerting to strangers walking past.

> An encouraging, enthusiastic and happy home, where he will be loved and cherished.

> Someone who loves cuddles, and having the perfect love monkey.

Pepe's perfect home will not have:

* A large family, with young children.

* No experience with the breed and their specific requirements.

* Live on rural or open fenced properties

* Not be willing to engage with Pepe and keep him healthy, active and happy.

* Not be prepared to commit to Pepe for his lifetime (approx 15yrs)

* Live within areas currently experiencing hard lockdowns preventing travel to meet and greet with Pepe.

Pepe is in Forster care in Kotara NSW and is not available for interstate or out of area adoption. Please consider this when enquiring or submitting an application.

Pepe’s adoption fee is $700 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped and lifetime registered.
