About Tess ~ 5mo Mastiff X(On Trial 4/9/21)
Very affectionately known as Squirm, Tess the gorgeous Mastiff X will wiggle her way into your lap, your bed and most importantly your heart. At 5 months old, she has a bit of growing left to do but is already up for a rumble and tumble with other doggos. Big brown eyes that melt even the toughest demeanour, this pretty little girl will win everyone over with her loyalty, affection and funny antics. She loves going for walks, playing with toys and throwing out some slightly loud but cute zzz's.
Tess will sit, shake and wait for her food. She is toilet trained and uses a dog door like a pro. Without any formal training, she has learnt so much from her surroundings and would flourish from a training course like puppy school (online or in person pending restrictions). Alert to what is going on, Tess will know there's someone or something at your house and will sometimes even give you a little woof to let you know too.
Tess would suit any house where she gets back the love that she gives out so freely! She wants to be a loyal companion and spend time having fun, being active and living inside with you when you are home. She doesn't mind being outside when no one is home as long as she has toys to play with and chew on to occupy her mind. Tess will grow to be a medium-large dog and would suit being part of a household that understands she is still a pup and sometimes accidentally gets too excited - she could be trained to be around young children but would need them to be as resilient and understanding as she as.
As Tess is not yet desexed and due to Covid restrictions, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and Port Stephens because she will need to be returned to a local vet for desexing when she is approximately 5 months old. Please NO out of area applications.
To register your interest in adopting Tess you can fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt or for more information please contact Hilary at hilary.leotta@live.com.au
Tess’s adoption fee is $600 and she is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated, and she's been treated for fleas and worms. Tess currently lives in the Newcastle Region NSW, and is not available for out of area or interstate adoption due to current COVID restrictions.
