About Gummy Bear & Xabian (Located in Pakenham)
Gummy and Xabian are estimated to be between 5-7 years old. They truly are the sweetest and most loving bonded pair we have ever come across and have won the hearts of hundreds of followers with their charming personalities. They were rescued from a horrendous situation, scoured in urine, emaciated, flea ridden, extremely sick and dumpster diving.
Xabian
My heart is ENORMOUS and my potential for devotion is practically BOTTOMLESS. If it's love your looking for I'm your guy!! I love nothing more than being wrapped in my foster carers arms, the bigger the cuddle the better!!
My brother Gummy and I are a bonded pair, I do annoy him sometimes with my smoothering but we both can't stand to be apart.
Now that I'm feeling fabulous I have started playing with toys especially chasing balls around as they are so fun! I like hanging out and sleeping on my tower which is best placed in a window where I can enjoy the sunshine.
I'm a medium haired, domestic calico in colour, desexed and vaccinated.
Gummy
I'm a real king! I'm a regal cat, not one that bats at and chases silly things or annoyingly meows at you! I have a beautiful sensitive, loving nature and enjoy all the pats, and I will reach out for you lovingly if you stop patting me.
I thrive on endless love, sunny myself in the window and climbing towers.
I'm a confident king that cares for my brother Xabian, he seeks reassurance from me when he's not to sure, so we are a package deal, he has to come with me!
But that just means you get double the love!!
We would prefer to find a furever home where we are the only pets so we don't have to share our hoomans, after spending most our lives in a colony of cats, starving and lacking human contact. Although if you do have other animals we do adapt well to new things so I guess if we took it slow we could consider it.
The boys are now looking for a very special forever home, one that is able to look past their ongoing health challenges and offer them a wonderful forever home where they can continue to be spoilt and well cared for.
Although they have received months of medical treatments for ongoing upper respiratory issues, unfortunately due to the horrible neglect they suffered in their previous home they now have permanent damage to their nasal passage, so although they are healthy some of their upper respiratory symptoms remain.
Please don't let that put you off because these boys are perfect beyond words, even with their health issues. It just means they may need follow up treatments from time to time with the amazing specialists at Melbourne cat vets.
The boys require daily supplements to be added to their food to help support their immune system, a top quality diet on-top of lots and lots of cuddles.
Medical notes
The adoption fee includes desexing, microchip, current vaccination, flea and worm treatment while in care.
Due to damaged nasal passages both boys have ongoing upper respiratory symptoms (snotty noses)
They will do best to remain on daily supplements to boost their immune system. Although the boys often have a snotty nose they have remained healthy and extremely happy throughout the many months they have been in care.
Beary Fuzzy Forever Rescue would like to help ensure you and your new companion(s) have a long and happy life together. Please be aware that if you should find that you are not a purrfect match, or if you need to rehome your new furry family member at any stage of their life, Beary Fuzzy Forever Rescue will take the cat/kitten back into care.
Beary Fuzzy Forever Rescue provides a 7 day health warranty on all adoptions. While all our cats and kittens are health checked prior to adoption, sometimes the stress of moving to a new home can upset their immune system.
