About Amara
Hi, I'm Amara. I came into the RSPCA as a very shy girl in need of putting on weight. I was flea, wormed, vet treated and sent to foster build my confidence & weight!
It has taken time for me to feel comfortable enough to leave my safe room and start to explore my foster home. I will need another safe space in my new home to adjust to first and slow introductions to my new home.
Although I won't, as yet, approach you for attention, I do enjoy observing what's going on and having pats.
I look forward to staying inside where I am safe from the world. A nice high perch will give me the perfect spot to observe household activity.
I am looking for quiet home with cat savvy adults who will be patient with me. Getting used to my new home and family will be a very slow process and we may not be the best of friends straight away. Watching me blossom and build my confidence will be very rewarding for my new family.
I may benefit from living with a calm feline companion to help show me how to be little house lion. Unfortunately I don't feel comfortable living with dogs.
Think you have a place in your heart and home for me? Apply now!
