About Milky
Milky would make the purrrfect addition to any family! She was named Milky while in foster care, due to her unique little “milk moustache”! She is a sweet and affectionate angel. She adores human company and just wants love and cuddles! She is a bit timid and shy, but easily warms up with some love!
While in foster care, Milky has enjoyed sitting next to her humans while they WFH and cuddling up to them at night. While she does adore cuddles and pats, she is also happy to be independent and just sit on the windowsill or lay in her cat tree. She is happy to be patted and cuddled. However, she doesn’t enjoy being picked up or held for long periods of time.
Milky is ready to fill your home with lots of love! She adores pats, chin scratches, belly rubs and cuddles. She previously lived with a family of 5, and is very patient and friendly with children.
Milky is fully litter trained, happy to travel in a car (in her carrier) and is generally quite adaptable and easygoing.
Rescue Story:
Milky came into care with her sister Coco. We rescued them from a neglectful family, who no longer wanted them. Despite their past, both girls are absolute angels! When Milky first came into foster care she was quite scared and shy. However, within a couple of hours she was cuddling up next to her foster humans and wanting belly rubs!
Ideal family:
Milky would suit a family that can provide her with the love, patience and care she deserves.
Milky would do well with a loving family, who can provide her with her own space initially while settling. When adjusting to a new environment, Milky does get a bit scared and needs to have her own secure space.
She would love to be adopted with her sister Hazel. However this isn’t a necessity, as they are not necessarily bonded. She is good with other cats. However she does need to have her own space when living with another cat.
