Lilly ~ 1yr Old Cattle Dog XKelpie(On Trial 9/9/21

Lilly is a 1 year old Cattle Dog x Kelpie looking for her new best friend! Lilly is a super sweet easy going girl who loves nothing more than hanging out with her humans. She is typical of her working breed nature being super intelligent with plenty of energy to burn. She has mastered all the basic commands such as sit, stay, lay down and shake, and has an excellent recall and name recognition. She has good lead manners and is a very quick learner.

Lilly’s favourite thing to do is play fetch with her ball, but she also loves running and playing games with her foster siblings too. Lilly’s ideal new home would have another dog of the same age / energy level for her to play with, and a new owner who will happily throw her ball for her until her heart is content.

Being a working breed pup, Lilly is a very active dog. A walk or 2 around the block every day just isn’t enough for this girl, she needs a home with land or a big enough back yard that she can run and expel her energy without space restrictions.

Lilly has taken well to farm life with her foster family, and is well mannered around other animals such as cattle, horses and chickens. She is also well behaved enough to be trusted off lead on the farm and has never wandered off on her own.

Lilly has a lot of love to give to her new family, and would love to go somewhere where she is allowed to be a part of your day to day life. She enjoys car rides, swimming and even just hanging out while you work in the garden or the office. She is happy to sleep inside or out. Lilly needs a new family who understand the physical and mental needs of her breed, and who will continue providing her with ongoing training and socialisation to give her the best life possible.

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF:

- You live in an apartment, townhouse or have a small yard

- You do not have a secure dog yard

- You are a first time dog owner or have no experience with working breeds

-You do not have another dog suitable for Lilly or access to regular social interactions with other dogs

- You work long hours away from home

Lilly's adoption fee is $500 she is microchipped, desexed, vaccinated and treated for fleas and worms. Lilly is currently in foster care in the Cessnock Area NSW (west of Newcastle NSW)
