About Roxy ~ 7yr Old Kelpie X (Hold 28/8 Trial Pending)
Roxy is a beautiful and loving 7-year-old kelpie x. Roxy is a loyal girl who is looking for her forever home.
Roxy is very affectionate, happy and young at heart. Her favorite things include fetch, trips to the beach, and snuggling her humans on the couch. Roxy is currently living with a cat, which she gets along with very well.
Roxy doesn’t like sharing a backyard with other dogs or going to the dog park. However, she would love to have a cat sibling to share her home.
Roxy has some basic obedience training including sit, bedtime, paw, and wait. She is very good on the lead however sometimes forgets commands when out and about from excitement. When on the lead she loves to sniff but does not show must interest in other dogs walking by.
Roxy may be a gentle mature girl, but she is still very active and requires exercise, training and mental stimulation. She currently has two, 30-minute walks a day to burn some energy or would be happy playing fetch all afternoon. Roxy currently spends her time outside during the day and inside at nighttime.
Roxy is very timid and nervous when meeting new people. She will require a family who are patient and willing to work at her speed. Once you gain her trust, she will smother you with love and be an amazing companion.
