About Alvin
Hi everyone, my name is Alvin
I’m a handsome tabby boy who is eager to find my perfect forever family!
When I was surrendered to Lort Smith I was in a lot of pain with a condition called feline lower urinary tract disease, this a condition where it makes it very difficult to pass urine. Thankfully the vet team got onto this quickly and were able to relieve my pain. I went out to foster care to ensure I was no longer having trouble urinating and to get some much needed TLC! I’m feeling much better now, though unfortunately my condition can reoccur, however the staff will be able to give you lots of tips and tricks to help ensure this does not happen again. I will also need to stay on a special prescription diet for life.
I’m a very relaxed boy, I love lazing about and getting lots of pats. I enjoy playing with toys and bird watching through the window. I’m looking for a family that will keep me strictly indoors please.
A home without young children or other cats would be most ideal, I need to live a stress free life as much as possible, as stress can be a trigger of my urinary condition.
I am waiting to have a dental procedure, which will be covered by Lort Smith, so I will be foster to adopt until this has been done. Then I can be officially adopted into your family, so exciting!
Please fill out an expression of interest form if you think I could come and be the king of your castle!
