About Quinlan
This adorable boy is super friendly, sociable and with a non stop wagging tail!
Quinlan is quite playful & active. He loves playing with his puppy kong for stimulation, having a game of tuggy and is learning fetch, which he really likes, especially when you throw the ball again! He is also independent enough to amuse himself with toys and sit quietly chewing on his chosen one.
Whilst in care, he has learned to sit, is not quite there yet with 'leave it', sleeps well through the night in a crate next to the resident dog and is doing well with toilet training. His recall is non existent and needs work though! As any puppy, Quin will still need further development in all areas of training to get it all perfect. Being food driven will certainly help.
He enjoys a good doggy play session and seems confident around meeting new people and dogs. He currently lives with a dog, cat and horse and is playful yet respectful with the cat (especially after getting a bop to the nose) and friendly with the horse.
Quin is great with car travel and will just lay down and sleep, so family activities and adventures are a must for this young man. He's not scared of water, actually seems to like it, so any water / beachy activity may be right up his alley.
He is still very mouthy and likes to nip a lot when playing, so at this stage, we're saying no to kids. Quin is not your typical snuggly pup, he will snuggle into you when tired but otherwise doesn't seek out pats or cuddles.
He has a quiet, sweet nature and is energetic and active. He will need a family that can fulfill his physical and mental stimulation needs and be committed to his ongoing training, social skills, development, health and happiness.
Quin will do best in an active home full of adventure with someone home most days and or another older, stable & friendly dog for play time and teaching good behaviour.
Inside for sleeping is expected in a new home with good indooor / outdoor access, preferably with a large yard for exploration and dirt digging. We don't feel he's well suited to apartment living at this point.
If you feel you can offer Quinlan the right balance of activity, training, love & adventure, please complete the adoption enquiry form on our Fetching Dogs website to register your interest.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
