About Aurum
Aurum is a cloud of ginger fairy floss that is vaguely cat shaped. He loves attention, being picked up, petted and fussed over. He is a bit unsure of being picked up, but if held in a secure and supported way he will roll with it. He can be quite shy at first, but in no time at all will be smooching you and purring like a tractor! He is also very shy with visitors, but will get used to any regular visitor and may eventually become their friend.
Aurum can be quite clingy, so he needs a home where there is someone to smooch or at least hang out with all day. If he can't have his foster carers lap, he immediately goes for her computer keyboard or notepad! He is learning to pit up with being slightly ignored and sitting in a cat bed next to the computer, but is still keeps going to the notpad/keyboard at every opportunity.
Aurum would like a quite home, with no other cats (they scare him, even kittens terrify him), other pets or very small kids (7+ should be fine).
Aurum is a healthy cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #991001002781233, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption right now!
------------------------------------------------------

Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
