Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About Myrtle - Located in Melbourne CBD
Myrtle is the confident, funny, energetic and loving work from home colleague that you’ve been looking for.
An energetic girl, she’s as much of a terror as she is an absolute snuggle-pot. One moment she’ll be wrestling with the rug, and the next she’ll be giving you cuddles and falling asleep on your lap.
Myrtle is a very affectionate girl and will happily snuggle under the covers with you at night. She loves exploring every nook and cranny and burying herself under cushions for a nap.

Medical notes
Myrtle has been diagnosed with multifocal severe ulcerative and neutrophilic stomatitis.
This is an overreaction of Myrtle's immune system to bacteria and allergens such as food or pollens when they come into contact with her mouth. To help prevent flare ups Myrtle would benefit from low allergen diet, regular teeth brushing (with a pet toothbrush and paste) and being indoor only.
Myrtle may require regular dental cleans under anaesthetic or courses of antibiotics and cortisone if she has flare ups.
Regular 6 monthly health checks are recommended for all cats and Myrtle would definitely benefit from these to monitor her mouth.
Myrtle has low grade locating patellas (her knee caps sometimes move from their position). These are currently not impacting her, especially when she is indoor only and does not need to run or jump in a hurry. She may be more prone to arthritis in her knees late in life.
