About River
River is a bit of an independent girl who will come to you for pats when she feels like it. The rest of the time she's either playing with Wash or getting into mischief in some other way. She's got a quiet purr on her and will follow you around to be part of everything you're doing. She loves wand toys and mouse toys and will chase them around for hours! She'd be best suited to a family that can spend a lot of time playing with her.
River has been:
- Untried with children
- Untried with dogs
- Untried with cats (however she grew up around 40 others and will be best suited to having a playmate - she'd make a great double adoption with Wash!)
River's adoption fee of $150 includes:
- Desexing
- Vaccination
- Microchipping
- Flea and worming treatments until date of adoption
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of her current wet and dry food, a set of toys, a carrier blanket and some other goodies to get her started.
River is to be kept strictly indoors or with access to a secure cat enclosure.
River is booked in for her 2nd vaccination on the 30th of August and will be available to go home that evening.

Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
