About Quinn
Quinn was surrendered to a local vet and came into care very scared and sad. She took a while to get used to being indoors and to realise that she was safe and warm and food kept appearing regularly. She has grown in confidence and is now a sweet, funny little girl with a soft short coat and gentle purr. She likes to sleep on her foster mum's bed at night, and enjoys chin scritches and pats as she snuggles down to sleep. During the day she likes to play with the other cats and kittens at the home and is now confident in her interactions with them - although, if she thinks she is losing in the game, she will protest loudly to get her foster mum to break it up and rescue her. She's a ""dobber"" ...
We will preference homes who have another friendly cat or kitten at home in need of a friend, or those wanting to adopt another of our kittens along with Quinn!
The foster mum has a fully enclosed outside run, so Quinn has enjoyed time going in and out of the house - but only ever where it is safe. She is not an outdoor cat and has no road or other sense to keep her safe outdoors. Quinn is a sweet, gentle little girl, with good manners (no jumping on the bench) who loves feathery wand toys to chase. The foster home has a dog - who has learned not to push his luck with the cats, and Quinn is confident around him. She would be frightened by a dog that was not similarly respectful of her boundaries.
Quinn is a healthy raw fed kitten who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #953010004925522, source #RE101165). She is available for adoption right now!
------------------------------------------------------
To adopt a cat from Cat People you'll be required to have a remote or in-person house check done, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
