Drax

Hi, my name is Drax! I am an 18 month old kelpie boy who loves to hang out with my humans doing training sessions and learning to play.

I am a young, working breed, active dog who needs a balance between play, structure and calm. An acreage with other working breed dogs would suit me best. Please no applications for suburban back yards, built up areas, dog parks, etc as they would not suit me.

My new family needs to have experience with working breeds like me, to ensure I get the best head start in my new life.

I am still learning to trust the environments and people around me, which is why I need someone who can help me feel safe with rules and boundaries. I am loyal, playful, cheeky, kind and very handsome according to everyone I meet. When I feel safe I have nothing but love and licks to give.

I am learning to play with toys and my foster pals have helped me along the way. I am learning my manners and basic training to sit, stay and maintain focus in training sessions.

I need my new family to dedicate training and play times with me to help develop my trust and confidence with you. I have a lot of energy in our training sessions and these help balance out my energy levels throughout the day.

I was super easy to crate train and I sleep in my crate all night!
