About Wash
Wash is a playful, curious and very intelligent guy who makes his foster carer laugh constantly. This guy is high energy and needs a family who will give him lots of playtime! He's a purry boy and when he's not playing a million miles an hour, he'll come up for a pat and purr his head off. Did we mention that he'll need a lot of toys? He'd be great with a playmate too! He loves playing with his brother Mal and they'd be perfect for a double adoption.
Wash has been:
- Untried with cats (however, he grew up in a hoarder situation with 40 cats and loves playing with his brother, we think he'll be best in a household with another cat he can play with)
- Untried with dogs
- Untried with children
Wash's adoption fee of $150 includes:
- Desexing
- Vaccination
- Microchipping
- Flea and worming treatments up to date of adoption
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of his current wet and dry food, a set of toys, a carrier blanket and other goodies to get him started.
Wash is to be kept strictly indoors or with access to an enclosure.
Wash is available to meet at his foster carer's home at Morphett Vale. If you'd like to meet Wash, please contact us to book an appointment.
Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
