About Sir William
Sir William
Will is a Happy-Go-Lucky type of guy. Although he’s happiest when he’s around his people. He does love a good rough and tumble with other dogs too (he is a vocal player, but no aggression shown). Will is too much of a puppy for elderly or small size dogs. He would suit a tolerant medium or large dog because he is still excitable and pushes other dogs boundaries.
Will is fully house trained and crate trained. He has a favourite toy (chicken) and he takes it to bed in his crate. Although he’d much rather curl up under the blanket in your bed.
Will loves his walks and investigating new places and walks well on lead. Will would be a wonderful family dog. He is fabulous with children (he's currently in foster care with an almost 4 year old human) and is even happy to jump on the trampoline with them or just play throwing his toys/balls in a game of fetch. He would probably be too excitable for very young children though and may knock them over.
Will needs a home that is able to give him the time and attention he deserves. A family that is willing to teach him new tricks and keep him mentally stimulated. He’s a VERY intelligent boy and is very willing to learn.
Will would be best suited to a home with no pocket pets or small dogs as he plays too rough for them. He has been around cats in foster care and has had no issues. But we are unsure if a cat runs whether he would play chasey. He definitely needs good solid and secure fencing with no way to climb a fence.
Adoption details
All of our animals are placed into foster care in a family type environment, which allows them to be exposed to various environmental factors such as cats, dogs, children, visitors, noises etc.
All of our animals have a health assessment. They are desexed, microchipped, receive their 1st F4 vaccination or C4 vaccination and have parasite treatment prior to going to their new homes. Once ready for adoption we look to find our fosters the most suitable home environment depending on their personalities and needs.
