About Diesel 🎾
Through no fault of my own, I have found myself once again, looking for a new Forever home 🏠…..I’m known as Diesel (and very responsive to my name). I’m almost 4yrs old and a beautiful Rescue mix of Mastiff, Shar-Pei, Ridgeback and quite possibly Cattle (I have a rather cute stumpy tail).
I’m a fairly low maintenance dog….I have a short coat which is really easy to maintain, easy to please and generally a very well behaved boy 😉 All I ask for is an endless supply of tennis balls 🎾, plenty of belly rubs and neck scratches, a nice comfy bed to rest on, and a family who will love me unconditionally 🥰
In return, I will offer you a lifetime of love and companionship, plenty of laughs, and just think how muscular those arms will be after daily workouts with the tennis ball!
I was previously an outdoor only dog, but am lucky enough to live both inside and outside in my foster home. My foster mum says I’m adjusting really well. I listen to instruction, but not overly keen on raised voices, so a gentle (but firm) leader would be ideal. I will sit on command, drop, stay, shake hands, come when called, and walk great on lead ( although can be led astray if other dogs walking with me are not behaving).
I’m social with other dogs, but do prefer to hang out with others around my own size (medium), and little dogs scare me 😕 My foster mum says that I have great dog body language skills. I’ve previously grown up with young children and absolutely adore them, but due to my size and energy, would be best suited to kids over 8yrs.
I will need a medium to large yard with height appropriate fencing (don’t panic, I’m not an escape artist), a family committed to play fetch with me daily and continue to teach me new tricks, take me on outings with the family, and welcome me into your home as a member of the family.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
