x no cats, small dogs or pocket pets
Ginny is just precious. She may snore but she’s an absolute lady. Her placid nature will calm any bad day. She gives so much love. She would be an amazing support for any family member who needs an extra smile in their life.
Ginny is accepting with other dogs, though truly queen of her own domain so if she had a canine housemate (not mandatory), she would do best with a chilled canine companion happy to go with the flow if she gets a touch haughty about her supreme majesty! She can ignore them out and about when walking with a head halter, but would rather not need to deal with every canine that wanted to say hi – it’s absolutely her humans she lives for!
She is great around kids and loves humans altogether. She is incredibly intuitive to the emotions of her humans, and bonds swiftly and strongly. She’s no sensitive flower herself though – she’s super smart and will train her humans and take control if not educated in her role in the household – she’s more aristocrat than unthinking follower.
She is not a fan of cats and is stimulated by things that flit or scurry, and would not be a good mate to have around little dogs.
This girl is a couch potato! She’s not interested in frolicking in the yard or racing about after toys, and in fact wants to be as close to you as often as she can! She would do best with humans home the vast majority of the time and happy to have her close. She’ll need a yard she can’t dig or barge out of with 6 ft fencing because alone is not her favourite time!
She is also toilet-trained at her foster home, and isn’t destructive. She’s a loving girl with a strong sense of what she likes and how to get it, just yearning to find her permanent pack.
Medical notes
Ginny is currently on a slow-kill heartworm eradication program that involves fortnightly medication. All medication and medical costs related to her heartworm eradication are covered by Precious Paws.
