Meet Malia 🌸
Malia is a gorgeous staffy with a soft fawn coat, striking green-grey eyes, and the kind of goofy ears that make you fall for her instantly. She’s smart, affectionate, and full of personality — but what she really needs now is the right forever home.
Her current family loves her deeply and never imagined re-homing her. Unfortunately, with the arrival of a baby, the home environment has become too stressful for Malia. They want the best for her — a calm, stable place where she can thrive.
Why You’ll Love Malia
🌟 Quick learner – Malia is very intelligent and loves training. She thrives when given structure and consistency.
💕 Affectionate & funny – She adores zoomies, snuggles on the couch (if invited!), and will happily rest her head on you while snoring away.
🎾 Playful personality – Soft toys are her favorite… though they don’t usually survive her enthusiasm!
Her Needs
Malia is a sensitive soul who can get over-excited, especially in busy or noisy environments. She does best when life is calm and predictable. For that reason:
🐾 She must be the only pet in the household.
🚫 She cannot be placed in a home with children.
🏡 She needs a calm, dog-experienced, adult-only home where she is the focus of attention.
In Training & Progress
Malia has been in training since adoption to work on her behavioural challenges and has made real progress. With a patient, committed owner and a quieter environment, she’ll continue to improve and shine.
Malia is a sweet, sensitive, and cheeky dog looking for love, routine, and guidance. In the right home, she’ll reward you with loyalty, affection, and plenty of laughs.
🌟We will be very picky with who adopts Malia. The last thing we want is more uncertainty and instability in her life. Please address how you can enhance/enrich Malia’s life in your application. Do not apply if you have not read her profile in full and do not understand her needs - both behavioural and medical.🌟

Medical notes
Medical notes -
Malia has been diagnosed with elbow dysplasia. This may lead to pain and osteoarthritis in future but currently apart from some temporary stiffness when waking up, she has no clinical signs. It is recommended that she be on lifelong arthritis supplements (currently on Sasha’s Blend) and maintain a good healthy weight.
