About Midnight
AVAILABLE NOW
I'm free to adopt!
Hi there, my name is Midnight.
Very appropriate, with my dark coat like the night sky.
Im an active, playful, busy young lady around 9 months of age. I'm quite a petite girl and probably won't get much bigger.
My dream home has lots of space for me to run and play, as well as other cats for me to play with.
I could happily live indoors or have outdoor access too. Im definitely a competent mouse catcher so I could also be an excellent shed cat!
I have been in foster care for many months but my early life was tough. I was born in the bush and was not in very good health when I came into care.
Because I missed out on some critical interaction with humans in my earliest days and weeks of life my people skills are... lacking, to say the least.
Don't get me wrong, I like humans. I particularly like that you guys feed me 😉
But I prefer you at a distance. I hate being restrained or held. I'll scoot around your ankles and play with a dangly toy on a string. But that's the extent of it.
Over time, I'll learn to trust you and we can form a bond. But I'll be honest, I don't think I'll ever be a lap cat or a cuddler. That's just how it is!
If you've got a cat who is lonely and looking for a playmate/companion, then I'll be the absolute ideal. If you want an entertaining black shadow, then I'm for you. If you want to offer a second chance in life to a cat in need, well that's me for sure.
I'm desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.
I'm free to adopt today (though donations are always appreciated!)
Please message the page or email avonvalley@safe.org.au. Your people can talk to my people and we can make this happen!! 😺
(Oh yeah all my photos are blurry sorry. I don't do ""sit still and pose!"")
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please email us at avonvalley@safe.org.au. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
