About Mal
Mal is a gorgeous tabby boy. He's a chilled out, affectionate boy who loves a head scratch. He loves playing with his brother Wash and would be perfect for a double adoption with him. That's not to say that they can't be separated though. He loves wand toys, balls and can be quite playful when he's not rubbing up against his foster carer looking for a pat. He would make a perfect companion for a quieter home.
Mal had entropion where his lower eyelids were rolling inwards. He's had surgery to correct this and is currently available to meet during his recovery. He will have no long-term effects of the surgery.
Mal has been:
- Untried with cats outside of his family (he grew up in a situation with 40 other cats though so we think he'd do well given the right introductions)
- Untried with dogs
- Untried with children
Mal's adoption fee of $150 includes:
- desexing
- 1st vaccination
- microchip
- flea and worming treatments to date of adoption
- socialisation
- litter training
- an adoption pack with some of his current wet and dry food, a carrier blanket, a set of toys and other goodies to get him started.
Mal is available to meet at his foster carer's home at Morphett Vale. If you'd like to meet Mal, please contact us to book an appointment.
Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
