About Saffron
Saffron is a gorgeous little girl who loves attention! She will snuggle up on your lap and purr her head off while falling asleep. She's quite playful and loves the cat tunnel! She also gets along great with her foster carer's 5 cats, however will need some time to adjust to resident cats in her new home.
Due to the severity of the cat flu that Saffron came in with, she has scarring on her eye which can cause it to weep at times. Due to this, she may need her eye wiped on a regular basis.
Saffron has been:
- Tried with cats
- Untried with dogs
- Untried with children
Saffron's adoption fee of $150 includes:
- desexing
- 1st vaccination
- microchipping
- flea and worming treatments to date of adoption
- socialisation
- litter training
- an adoption pack with some of her current wet and dry food, a set of toys, a carrier blanket and other goodies to get her started.
Saffron is available to meet at her foster carer's home at morphett vale. If you'd like to meet Saffron, please contact us to book an appointment.
Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
