About Ronan
Handsome Ronan is a 2 year old Labrador mix who is on the hunt for his forever home.
Ronan is an extremely snuggly boy who loves the company of his humans and will be happiest with someone who allows him to enjoy time inside with a family. He learns commands very quickly and knows how to sit, stay and spin and he also walks great on leash. Ronan is a great jogging partner and will keep up with you, so an active human would’ve perfect for him.
Ronan will need a strong pack leader and someone with lots of doggy experience. Ronan has food aggression towards other dogs so is fed separately, but eats only when commanded to eat and can stop eating midway through with a “stop” command. For this reason Ronan will be best suited to a home with no other dogs. Ronan sometimes gets anxious around other dogs and in dog parks. He would not be suited to going to an off leash park. Ronan is NOT a highly social dog. He would not be suited to someone wanting to take a dog to cafes and other social outings.
Despite this Ronan adores his humans and just needs an understanding person to love and care for him forever.

* Rent or own your home? Written agreement is required by your landlord/real estate for rental properties outlining that dogs are allowed. Our dogs and pups will only be adopted to homes where they are allowed inside to be part of the family. Real Estate approvals must state that this is permitted.�
* Opportunities for socialization outside the home? Whilst some of our dogs are best in only dog homes, most of our dogs have been provided with lots of socialisation and will need this to be ongoing.
* Work commitments? How long will the dog be on their own? �
* Why do you think this breed will be suitable for you? Breed type experienced owners will generally be given priority.
* Will you allow this pooch to live both inside and outside as part of the family? �
* Yard check will be done to confirm you have a fully fenced secure yard and adequate shelter when the dog or pup is outdoors.
Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family. He/she will be desexed,1st and 2nd vaccination, microchiped, wormed and flea treated regularly and a health check done by our vet .
