About Oak The Bloke
Hey hey, I'm Oak! I am a sweet, independent little one looking for a kind place to call home. I am quite an active pupper so I would love to be included in all aspects of you lives, and be treated with lots of love. I will require a stable home that can allow me time to adjust and also teach me boundaries so that I can grow up to be my best self. I will need a family who can provide me with plenty of mental and physical enrichment daily, such as kongs, wobblers or snufflemats or something to challenge my brain such as slow feeders, scatter feeds and puzzles. I will also need owners who are dedicated to taking me to puppy school, to help me build confidence, learn basic obedience and be trained using positive training methods. I will need kind owners who are dedicated to ongoing socialisation and training, especially around new people, environments or animals. Crate training will also be required to give me a safe place to go if I become overwhelmed!
Once we came into the care of the RSPCA it was noticed that some of my friends may have had ringworm - therefore I am on a special adoption and I will require two weekly checks until the team here are happy that it has all cleared up! You can bet that it doesn't stop me from any usual mischievous antics - believe me!
My future home could be with calm and appropriate kids, pending meet. My future home could also be with another dog, of opposite sex, over 18m old, pending meet- Please note that if you have an existing dog we will need to see an up to date vaccination history. If you think I sound like the one, please come say hello!
