Minka is by far one of the most relaxed, friendly and chilled out cats we have ever fostered given her background. Minka spent the first 18 months of her life living outside on the grounds of a hotel/apartment complex where she gave birth to three babies.
Minkaâs babies have all been adopted. She has also raised many of our other rescued orphaned kittens, who have also found their forever homes. Minkaâs caring nature towards other cats is her stand-out feature. You couldnât wish for a more placid, caring kitty.
It is now time for this beautiful retired mumma to find her own forever home.
Minka doesnât have a nasty or aggressive streak in her. She loves to sit with you watching tv or if youâre busy, she will play or snooze on her own or snuggle up with other cats. She is not a clingy cat but if you engage her with toys and playtime, the kitten comes out in her and she bounces around playfully.
Minka absolutely adores a back scratch and belly rub and will roll over for you so you donât forget to massage that belly.
Minka needs a home with a pet door or secure outdoor enclosure because she will only poop outside. She will, however, use the litter tray to pee.
Minka needs a large home or property where she can pop outside and come back in again because she loves being inside with other cats, dogs and humans. Minka is not suited to apartment living.
If you fit this criteria, Minka will be a wonderful companion for you and your pets.

Medical notes
Minka has been diagnosed with having had cat flu in the past. As a result of cat flu, Minka has a lingering respiratory issue â sometimes when she meows it sometimes comes out as a silent hiss. Apart from that she has fully recovered.
Minka refuses to poop in the litter tray. She pees in the litter tray but doesnât cover it, and she hops straight out. As a result she will need access to outdoors to poop.
Adoption details
HOW TO ADOPT FROM US:
1. Email dandycatrescue@yahoo.com and request an adoption form to be sent to you, fill it out and return it to us. Weâll be in touch!
2. If your application is successful, weâll make arrangements for you to visit our cats and kittens at our foster carerâs home.
3. We ask that you pay the nominated fee to us via online bank deposit either at the adoption day or at the home visit (preferred), or in cash. We do not accept eftpos, credit or debit card transactions at this stage.
4. You will be provided with a folder of paperwork for your new kitty upon adoption. Your adoption fee includes a Central Animal Records Change of Ownership that is completed by us online two weeks after the adoption.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
