About Lachlan **2nd Chance Cat Rescue **
As many of you who followed our page know LACHLAN has a story to tell. He is quite close lipped about it.
LAchlan came to the Rescue in January with a broken leg and after getting desexed and treated he escaped a locked cage. He was missing for 4 month, a member of the public contacted the rescue after she tracked down our Lost and Found notice which we posted several month prior. It took 4 nights till we finally got lucky , thanks to KFC and having had the help of 4 traps.
My Vet when I did bring Lachlan to the Vet for a check up thought we were going to put him down. But no this boy needed a chance. and so his recovery started.
Bloods were taken which came back extremely poorly. Lachlan had to put on more weight and his white blood cells had to come up higher. He was put on 3 loads of antibiotics and after 2 month the day has arrived to go in and have his amputation.
He has been hiding quite a bit and to see that he is improving his hidey spot had to be taken out of the room.
He made friends with the other cats and was ready for adoption. He found the Purrfect home with his new owners.
