Curly

Curly is a 7 year old curly coat retriever mix. He is a loveable boy who just wants human attention 24/7, he loves cuddles and cant get enough of lounging around on the couch with his humans.

Curly has had a good start to life with a loving family but recently after a relationship breakdown and Curly's owner losing their home Curly now needs a new place to rest.

The last 6 months for curly have been very tiring and he is just looking for a home with a family that will love him unconditionally.

Curly is well mannered and has had consistent training throughout his life, he walks well on the lead because he just wants to be next to his humans, he is a gorgeous boy who loves to cuddle and is very chilled out when someone is home with him. Unfortunately curly suffers from severe anxiety, with medication and consistent training his anxiety has become much better but he would still need someone home more often then not or someone who can take him to work with them.

Curly has also had some kidney issues which are being managed with his food, he is currently on science diet K/D which will need to be continued when he is adopted.

Curly has been around cats in his current home and doesn't really take any notice of them, he has also been with other dogs in the home although he is friendly with other dogs he would rather be getting attention from his humans, with the adjustment when moving to a new home he will be better suited where he is the only dog in the household.

Curly would be suited in an adult only home or a family with school aged children, he needs an owner who is well educated about this breed, who has had experience with anxious dogs before and who will continue his training.
